NOTICE OF ELECTION OF SUPERVISORS
New Madrid County SWCD BOARD ELECTIONS
Let it be known that the New Madrid County Soil and Water Conservation District will hold an election for one supervisor in each of two different areas in the county. Area 2 includes New Madrid, Lewis, and St. John townships and Area 4 includes Como and Anderson townships. The election will take place from February 1, 2022 to February 22, 2022. A printable version of the ballot has been linked under the News section of this website. You may also pick up a ballot at the New Madrid County SWCD office.
Printed ballots may be returned to the district by mail and must be postmarked no later than February 20th. You may also vote in person from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the New Madrid County Soil and Water Conservation office at 495 US Hwy 61 in New Madrid. There will be a ballot box next to the front door. Each eligible land representative in the district is allowed one vote. A land representative is defined as the owner or representative authorized by legal power of attorney of any farm lying within an area.

Area 2 – Cindy Faulkner, New Madrid Township
Area 4 – Joe Woolverton, Anderson Township
