District Specialist I-Program Technician Audrain The Audrain Soil & Water Conservation District has a full-time, temporary position available for a District Program Specialist/Technician. Position is office and field based. Technician is responsible for staking, designing, and completing plans to install soil and water conservation practices on agricultural land as well as providing technical assistance to cooperators on the installation and maintenance of practices. Also provides district program awareness, manages case files, assists with clerical tasks and maintains equipment. General agriculture knowledge is desired. Other qualifications include; strong computer skills, good public relation skills and the ability to be flexible as job duties may vary. Applicant must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED. College degree is preferred but not required. Applicant must have the ability to work outdoors under all types of weather conditions, must be dependable, have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check. Available benefits include; health insurance, annual and sick leave, paid holidays, and retirement. Starting rate will be $13.79 per hour. Increase in salary will be determined upon the employee meeting job expectations and as experience and training has been gained. District Specialist I-Program Technician 02/19/2021
