Gentry County Soil and Water Conservation District Internship Gentry The Gentry County Soil and Water Conservation District has an internship position opening for the summer. Applicants must be a higher education (college, university, technical school) student within any major. The position is part-time (2 days a week) and will begin May 6th thru August 23rd. 2019 Cape & Perry County Summer Intern Cape Girardeau The Cape Girardeau and Perry County Soil and Water Conservation Districts are jointly offering an internship opportunity for a higher education student. To qualify for the internship the student must be a freshman, sophomore, or junior currently enrolled in a college, university or technical school. The intern will gain knowledge and experience working with district staff in planning, surveying, and designing conservation practices, using maps and GIS technology and consulting with landowners. Qualified candidates should have computer skills, the ability to keep accurate notes and documentation, and be able to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions. This is a paid internship.
