Notice of Election
Of supervisors for the
Soil and Water Conservation
District of Texas County
To all land representatives of any farms lying within Texas County, Missouri, notice is hereby given that an election will be held to elect the required number of supervisors to the board of supervisors of the Soil and Water Conservation District of Texas County, Missouri. Pursuant to the provisions of the Missouri Code of State Regulation, Title 10, Division 70, Chapter 2 (10 CRS 70 – 2.10 & 2.020)
All land representatives of any farm lying within Texas County, Missouri, are eligible to vote. A land representative is the owner or representative authorized by power-of-attorney of any farm lying within any area of the district; provided, however, that any land representative must be a taxpayer of the county.
All land representatives so designated by power-of-attorney form, properly signed, to polling judges at the time of voting.
Eligible voters shall cast their votes at the following place: Between February 1st to February 20th at the USDA Service Center, 6726-C S. Hwy 63, Houston, Missouri 6548. (One mile south of Houston on U. S. 63 behind Steve’s Tire and Sun Solar) or by mail to: Texas County SWCD, RE: Supervisor Election
