If you have driven by the Soil and Water Conservation District’s office in Troy, you may have noticed something large and yellow setting in the back parking lot. They have purchased a Vermeer Bale Processor that is now available for rent.
If you have any mulching project, large or small, this machine can make things simple for you. You will need at least an 85 horsepower tractor with 3 sets of hose connections and a 1000 RPM Power Take Off.
The SWCD still has two No-Till drills available also. One has a warm season grass attachment and is located in Troy and other one is located in Elsberry.
