All meetings are open to the public with the exception of executive sessions. All meetings may, according to RSMO Section 610.021(1), enter a Closed Session to discuss legal, confidential, or privileged matters which are otherwise protected from disclosure by law.

Nomination Period: The Nomination period is November 3, 2025 to December 2, 2025
The seats up for election are in areas 2 and 4 of Buchanan County. Area 2 includes Bloomington, Lake, Rush, and Wayne townships. Area 4 includes Crawford, Jackson, Platte townships. Any landowners who has paid property taxes and is actively engaged in farming practices in the above areas for the last two years, may self-nominate or nominate another landowning individual who fits those criteria.
Next Election: The Election/Voting period is February 1, 2026 through February 20, 2026. The last day to receive ballots is February 23, 2026.
