In response to Executive Order 23-05 The Missouri Soil and Water Commission at their June 7, 2023 meeting reinstated policy variances and reinstated the Water Impoundment Reservoir Cleanout practice. These variances are effective until the order expires on December 1, 2023, unless terminated or extended by subsequent order. Districts that have reached the D2 status (or higher) are available to utilize these variances throughout the county and will remain eligible until the executive order expires.
