What's the best way to demonstrate what a soil profile is?  With chocolate pudding and oreo cookies of course!  The students create their own edible soil profile with broken vanilla wafers as the bedrock, chocolate pudding as the subsoil, crushed oreo cookies as the topsoil and gummy worms to represent all of the life in the soil.  Some people call it dirt pudding, we call it edible soil profiles and the kiddos call it yummy!!
