2018 Cooperator of the Year-Lincoln County
The Lincoln County Soil & Water Conservation District’s Board awarded Mike and Rose Ann Sullivan the 2018 Cooperator of the Year Award due to the many conservation efforts they have performed on their properties over the years. They received State Cost Share through the Lincoln County SWCD two years ago and Federal Cost Share this year for using Cover Crops. Also this year they have received federal dollars to help design a Forest Management Plan through EQIP (Environmental Quality Incentive Program) and to assist with creating a Pollinator Plot and additional Tree Plantings through CSP (Conservation Stewardship Program). EQIP and CSP are both NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation Service) programs.
