2024 Pearls of Production Conference
Choose to attend one or both sessions: Oct. 29, 2024 and Nov. 2, 2024
The 2024 Pearls of Production committee has a great two-day conference scheduled this fall. The first conference date is October 29th at 6:00 pm, and will be held via Zoom with a breakout session (with four options) and a keynote presentation. Session topics include estate planning, backyard layers, enhancing value added meat marketing and beekeeping.
The second date is November 2nd beginning at 9:00 am at the MU Beef Research and Teaching Farm in Columbia, MO, and will feature three hands-on, breakout sessions. Registrants will have the opportunity to select one topic per breakout session. Topics this year range from beef genetics to backyard laying hens and forage/pasture assessment.
Future Pearls of Agriculture Conference
For the November 2nd conference date only, send your kids (ages 5 to 12) on an interactive, hands-on tour of Missouri agricultural products by exploring the ways that agriculture provides us with the basic needs of clothes, food, and shelter. Kids will make their own lunch, gain hands-on knowledge, and get excited about the vast world that is the agricultural industry.
