District Specialist

Johnson County SWCD is accepting applications for a Full Time District Specialist Job Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting landowners with state cost-share programs, field surveying and design of conservation practices in the office. Must have the ability to work outdoors in all types of weather and on uneven terrain. Clerical work, basic communication skills and basic computer skills required. Farm knowledge and farm experience is a plus. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma/GED and be able to pass a background check. This position includes advancement opportunities and benefits. Starting pay $15.00 per hour, pay increases available if merited by work performance.
