Jerry Weinrich celebrated his 30th year with the Lincoln County Soil & Water Conservation District. During his career with the district he has worked with landowners in many different ways to help get conservation on the land. Over the years, he has worked with the youth in the area by way of the Poster Contest for 4th graders, outdoor classrooms with 4th-6th graders, classroom discussions and the Envirothon for high schoolers. He currently is part of the DNR’s (Department of Natural Resources) “Plan for the Future” Committee where landowners, district employees, DNR, and District Board members develop innovative ways of making conservation a bigger part of our world.
