Burn Equipment

Boone County SWCD in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Conservation Private Land Conservationist will loan out burn equipment for controlled burns if the landowner has a burn plan and has burning experience or has been to burn school. Equipment is loaned out for the weekend or for a two to three day period. The following equipment is available; you must call ahead to reserve the equipment. Any equipment not returned or returned damaged will be billed to the landowner.

• 3 drip torches   (these must be returned empty)
• 3 bladder bags  (these must be returned empty)
• 5 flappers         (these must be returned clean)
• 2 rakes
