Thank you for your support to the NW Regional Envirothon:  DeKalb, Grundy, Ray, Nodaway, Daviess, Harrison, Holt & Carroll SWCD's and local companies:  United Cooperatives Inc, Platte-Clay Electric Cooperative Inc & Pepsico - Pepsi Beverages Company.  We are blessed to have a wonderful group of volunteers:  MDC, SWCD, NRCS, Smithfield Milan, Smithfield Hog Production, Teachers & Missouri Master Naturalists.

It was a gorgeous day at Squaw Creek in Mound City for our NW Regional Competition. Competing this year were teams:  Missouri Academy A, Norborne A, Missouri Academy B, Norborne B, Plattsburg, South Nodaway A, South Nodaway B, North Mercer, Maysville and we had an alternate team.  Teams competed in Wildlife, Forestry, Soils, Aquatics, Current Issue (Invasive Species) and Oral Presentation.

During awards presentation the top team in each resource was recognized.

The top 3 teams that will advance to state competition on Thursday, April 26, 2017 are:

1st Place - Missouri Academy A

2nd Place - South Nodaway A

3rd Place - North Mercer
