Rental Equipment

A tractor with at least 50 HP and hydraulics required. 10’ seeding width and 7 inch row spacing. 18 coulter-disc offset openers. 2” x 15 1/2” press wheels. Legume and 2 grain boxes (no WSG Box). Fertilizer cannot be used in the drill.   Please call for equipment availability and scheduling. The Greene Co. SWCD does not deliver equipment. Drill must be towed with a Pintle hitch (provided). A 3/4 ton truck with a 2” receiver hitch is required to pull the drills. When towing drill, do not exceed 30 MPH- wheels and hubs are not rated for highway speeds.

Broadcast seeder can be pulled using a truck or ATV. Fertilizer cannot be used in the seeder. Ethanol Free Fuel must be used in the motor.   Please call for equipment availability and scheduling. The Greene County SWCD does not deliver equipment.  Seeder must be towed with a ball hitch. When towing the seeder, do not exceed 40 MPH. Do not pull the seeder down Highway 13, 60, 65, or Interstate 44.
