On May 7th, the Missouri Extension hosted a safety day with the help of the Stoddard County SWCD and the SEMO Ag Leaders Young Farmer chapter. There were 250 seventh grade students from Stoddard County that were reminded how to be safe while having fun! Stations included safety programs on ATV, chemicals, grain, firearms, electrical, tractors, fire and animals. Presenters included: Monsanto, MO Department of Conservation, Dexter Fire Department, Baker Implement, Ozark Border, US Forest Service, Missouri Extension and the Dexter FFA chapter. Thanks to all that made this a very successful day!!
