This drill is capable of seeding cool season grass as well as some warm season. It also works for soybeans, wheat, milo and oats. The drill needs about a 50 horse power tractor with one hyd remote. For the drill the district has a drill manager, who will deliver it to your farm and help set it for the crop you want to plant. The cost for the delivery and set up is $25. The 25 gallon sprayer is fairly new for the district. It is set up to go on an ATV or sit in the back of a pickup. You can use it to spray a swath or it has a hand wand for spraying fence rows.

The district has a purchased a large bale mulcher for rental use. The mulcher is mostly used to spread straw or hay over newly seeded areas. It is designed for an 85 hp or larger tractor, with a 1000 rpm shaft. This gets busy in the seeding periods so it is a good idea to call in and reserve it.

The root plow is basically a one shank subsoiler. It is made to go on a Cat II, 3 point hitch. This tool is designed to be used along the drip edge of the tree line, cutting the roots that are robbing moisture and fertilizer from crop.
